Programs & Activities
After School Program
The Friendship House provides a quality after-school program where community youth are inspired to learn and are encouraged to participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities, including arts and crafts, basketball, a community garden, computer lab activities, homework assistance, academic activities, and a program focused on science, reading, and math. The free after-school program keeps community youth safe, engaged, and active. Daily meals and snacks are provided. This program is free of charge. Days of Operation: Monday-Fridays 2pm-5pm. Summer CAMP Program
The Friendship House offers a New Adventure Summer Program that provides a welcoming and safe environment for youth to hang out, participate in educational enrichment/STEM and go on exciting field trips while having fun and exploring new interests. During the summer, the Summer Food Service Program is also provided at the Friendship House, which provides free breakfast and lunch to any child aged 18 and under. Program registration is not required to receive breakfast or lunch. These programs are free of charge.
Days of Operation: June 6th-August 5th Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Breakfast 8:30am-9:30am & Lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm)

Mentorship Program
Mentors volunteer one hour a week for a year, to a child (ages 6-18) and make a positive difference in the life of a youth. Mentors must complete an application, pass a background check, and attend a one-time orientation training. Students with mentors have been shown to improve relationships with family, friends, and authority; improve school attendance and grades; and are more likely to be promoted to the next grade level in school.l.
Medi-Cal Outreach

WIC
The Friendship House provides Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program services free of charge. Days of Operation: WIC – Open Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 5:00PM
