Coordinated Entry System Program Specialist
Assess individual client needs, strengths and barriers. Will coordinate, refer, and deliver services to meet the short-term needs of individuals and families, which include connection to housing supports, emergency services, asset development programming, case, coordination and other resources that move individuals and families towards self-sufficiency. Work schedule may include evenings and weekends and holidays. Associate Degree in Health and Human Services, Social Services or related field. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be acceptable on a year to year basis. Knowledge of Kern health and social services preferred. One-year experience working with the homeless community. Communication effectively verbally and be proficient at writing. HMIS experience desired. Bilingual language fluency (English/Spanish) highly desirable. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and state automobile insurance and acceptable driving record substantiated by a DMV printout. $18.96/HR – $21.80/hr. + benefits. Open until filled.
