2-1-1 Kern Helpline


2-1-1 Kern County, a program of Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) will provide comprehensive Information and Referral services that links Kern County residents to community health and human services and support. CAPK has been designated by the California Public Utilities Commission as the 2-1-1 provider for Kern County. Services will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the 750,000 residents in the county. Callers seeking assistance dial 2-1-1 and are connected with Information and Referral Specialist who utilize a database to provide information on services such as:

  • Food
  • Financial Assistance
  • CalFresh/Food Stamps
  • Utility Assistance
  • Child Care
  • Clothing
  • Clinics
  • Counseling
  • Disasters
