Policy
To encourage employee development every effort is made to fill vacancies by
promoting eligible employees. However, to assure the Agency has a work force with
the breadth of skills required to professionally administer programs and better serve the
community of Kern County, all persons hired must meet minimum qualifications whether
recruited internally or externally. Notices of such vacancies are advertised through normal
media such as local newspapers etc. and sent to other agencies and community
organizations.
